Explanation:

because once strikes in that area. There's too much energy in that area for it to strike again end. Therefore, it strikes in another area.

There's no answer, because there's no question.

It's very highly possible for lightning to strike the same place twice. Or ten times, or a hundred times, or more. Very likely. It happens every day.

Unless the place burns to the ground. Then, it's not too likely that lightning will hit it again after that. But it's still not impossible.

A box of mass m = 1.80 kg is dropped from rest onto a massless, vertical spring with spring constant k = 2.00 ✕ 102 N/m that is
Rudik [331]

Answer:

spring compressed is 0.724 m

Explanation:

given data

mass = 1.80 kg

spring constant k = 2 × 10²  N/m

initial height = 2.25 m

solution

we know from conservation of energy is

mg(h+x)  = 0.5 × k × x²       ...................1

here x is compression in spring

so put here value in equation 1 we get

1.8 × 9.8 × (2.25+x)  = 0.5 × 2× 10² × x²

solve it we get

x = 0.724344

so spring compressed is 0.724 m

A golf club with 65J of kinetic energy strikes a stationary golf ball with a mass of 46g. The energy transfer is only 20% effici
umka21 [38]
Kinetic energy of golf club = 65J,
kinetic energy supplied to golf ball = 20% of 65 = 0.2 * 65 = 13J,
kinetic energy of ball = [mass * Velocity²]/2,
mass = 46gm = 0.046Kg,
[0.046 * V²]/2 = 13, or 0.046 *V² = 26,
V² = 26/0.046 = 565.22,
V = 23.77 m/sec = initial velocity of golf ball after hitting.

Which scientist contributed to disproving spontaneous generation?
kompoz [17]

Answer:

A. John Tyndall

Explanation:

In 1887, John Tyndall confirmed the theory of biogenesis, formulated by Luis Pasteur in 1864, applying sterilization by discontinuous heating, a process that is currently known as tyndalization. Evidence of the existence of resting microbacterial forms, very resistant to heat.

Thanks to this demonstration he is recognized as the father of microbiology with Pasteur. The theory brought down the previous idea of the Spontaneous Generation, which remained in force since 1745.
