What will the speed of a sound wave change if the Temperature of the medium rises

Physics

The speed of sound will increase because the rate at which the air particles move will increase. As rarefaction and compressions are formed at a faster rate, the frequency increases, thereby increasing the speed.

2. A can filled with sand has a mass of 0.65kg is swung overhead in a horizontal circle of radius 0.70m at a constant rate of 2.
Aliun [14]

Answer;

≈ 5 Kgm²/sec

Explanation;

Angular momentum is given by the formula

L = Iω, where I is the moment of inertia and ω is the angular speed.

I = mr², where m is the mass and r is the radius

= 0.65 × 0.7²

= 0.3185

Angular speed, ω = v/r

                              = (2 × 3.142 × r × 2.5) r

                              =  15.71

Therefore;

Angular momentum =  Iω

                                 = 0.3185 × 15.71

                                 = 5.003635

                                 ≈ 5 Kgm²/sec

The solar system is of largely uniform composition. (T/F)
vaieri [72.5K]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

Sun mass is dominating in Solar system as compared to other planets, asteroids and comets. Sun itself accounting for the 99.9% of the mass of the solar system. Hence the gravitational force exerted by the Sun dominates the other objects in the solar system. So we can conclude that solar system has non-uniform composition. The given statement is false

Which factor does not usually increase the rate of reaction
agasfer [191]
There are many factors that increase the rate of reaction like concentration of reactants, atmosphere, presence or absence of catalyst, nature of reactants etc.
The factor usually does not increase the rate of reaction is lowering the temperature. But if we increase the temperature during reaction may be it increase the rate of reaction.
