Answer:

Because of pollution and other factors that contain carbon dioxide are warm, and it heats up the air.

Explanation:

Carbon dioxide levels in the Earth's atmosphere have been steadily decreasing. Carbon dioxide has a longer average lifetime in the atmosphere. The warming effect associated with carbon dioxide has remained unchanged

How many molecules are there in 15.7 L of chlorine gas at STP
ohaa [14]
Hello!

We have the following information:

Knowing that for each mole of substance we have 6.02 * 10²³ molecules, it is known that in STP (<span>Standard Temperature and Pressure</span>) one mole of any gas equals 22.4 L, then:

22.4 L ----------------- 6.02*10²³ molecules
15.7 L ----------------- y molecules

\dfrac{22.4}{15.7} = \dfrac{6.02*10^{23}}{y}

22.4*y = 15.7*6.02*10^{23}

22.4y = 9.4514*10^{24}

y =  \dfrac{9.4514*10^{24}}{22.4}

y = 4.219375*10^{23}\:\to\:\boxed{\boxed{y \approx 4.22*10^{23}\:molecules}}\end{array}}\qquad\checkmark

I hope this helps. =)

7. Phosphorus 32 ( 32), a radioactive isotope of phosphorus, has a half-life of 14.2 days. a. If the amount of radioactivity of
Wittaler [7]

Explanation:

(a) Given that:

Half life = 14.2 days

t_{1/2}=\frac {ln\ 2}{k}

Where, k is rate constant

So,

k=\frac {ln\ 2}{t_{1/2}}

k=\frac {ln\ 2}{14.2}\ days^{-1}

<u>The rate constant, k = 0.0488 days⁻¹ </u>

(b)Using integrated rate law for first order kinetics as:

[A_t]=[A_0]e^{-kt}

Where,

[A_t] is the concentration at time t

[A_0] is the initial concentration  = 100 g

So,

[A_t]=100\times e^{-0.0488\times t}\ g

(c) Given t = 6 days

So,

[A_t]=100\times e^{-0.0488\times 6}\ g

<u>Amount left = 74.6171 g</u>
