Which medium caused the most bending of light as it passed through?

Physics

I wasn't there observing the experiment while you and your class
performed it, so I don't really know how it was set up, or what
happened.

But I can tell you this:  Light doesn't bend while passing through
any medium.  It only bends at the boundary where one medium
meets a different one.

A 5.45-g combustible sample is burned in a calorimeter. the heat generated changes the temperature of 555 g of water from 20.5°c
Y_Kistochka [10]
Given:
m = 555 g, the mass of water in the calorimeter
ΔT = 39.5 - 20.5 = 19 °C, temperature change
c = 4.18 J/(°C-g), specific heat of  water

Assume that all generated heat goes into heating the water.
Then the energy released is
Q = mcΔT
    = (555 g)*(4.18 J/(°C-g)*(19 °C)
    = 44,078.1 J
    = 44,100 J (approximately)

Answer:  44,100 J

A5 kg frisbee is thrown from rest to a final speed of 12 m/s. What is the impulse of the frisbee?
lesya692 [45]

Answer:

60kgm/s

Explanation:

Given parameters:

Mass of frisbee  = 5kg

Final speed  = 12m/s

Unknown:

Impulse of the frisbee  = ?

Solution:

The impulse of the frisbee is the same as the change in momentum.

It is given as:

 Impulse  = mass (Final velocity  -  Initial velocity)

 Impulse  = 5(12  - 0)  = 60kgm/s

Write a note on unity of ant
Tom [10]

Answer: When a pathogen enters their colony, ants change their behavior to avoid the outbreak of disease. In this way, they protect the queen, brood and young workers from becoming ill. These results, from a study carried out in collaboration between the groups of Sylvia Cremer at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria) and of Laurent Keller at the University of Lausanne, are published today in the journal Science.

Explanation: search for it.

1) The current in a light bulb is 0.335 Amps. How long does it take for a total charge of 2.76 C to
uysha [10]

Answer:

Time=8.23880597 seconds

Explanation:

Quantity of charge(q)=2.76c

Current(I)=0.335A

Time(t)=?

t=q/I

t=2.76/0.335

t=8.23880597seconds

a football player kicks a ball with a mass of 0.42kg. The average acceleration of the football was 14.8 m/s2. How much force did
Zarrin [17]

Answer:

6.216 N

Explanation:

As for Newton's second law of motion

F=ma

where F= the acting force

           m=subjected mass

           a= the acceleration

applying F=ma to the football

F=m*a

 =0.42*14.8

 =6.216 N

6.216 N of a force is supplied to the ball
