So, when talking about ions it’s very important to understand everything around..you consume everything you breathe in. It can effect you in many ways!!! Ok starting off, negative ions can help with more alert and stamina. These traits include longer and higher alertness, the decreasing of drowsiness when doing activities, and more mental energy!

The diagram below represents a flashlight that has been turned on. Which form of energy is being converted to electrical energy
Orlov [11]

Answer:

Chemical energy to electrical energy

Explanation:

In nature, there are several types of energy.

In this example (a flashlight being turned on), we have a conversion of energy from chemical energy to electrical energy. In fact:

- Chemical energy is the energy stored in the chemical bonds of the molecules of the substances used inside the battery. When the chemical reaction inside the battery occurs, this energy is liberated, and it is used to "push" the electrons along the circuit connected to the battery

- Electric energy is the energy associated to the motion of the electrons along the circuit of the flashlight; it is the energy associated to an electric current.

Moreover, in the flashlight the electric energy is then converted into two more types of energy: light energy (since the bulb in the flashlight produces light) and heat energy (because the flashlight also produces heat, so thermal energy).

Jill applies a force of 250 N to a machine. The machine applies a force of 25 N to an object. What is the mechanical advantage o
Vinvika [58]

Mechanical advantage is defined as the ratio of output load to the input load. The mechanical advantage of the machine will be 0.1.

<h3>What is mechanical advantage?</h3>

Mechanical advantage is a measure of the ratio of output force to input force in a system,

It is used to obtain the efficiency of forces in levers and pulleys. It is an effective way of amplifying the force in simple machines like levers.

The theoretical mechanical advantage is defined as the ratio of the force responsible for the useful work in the system to the applied force.

Given

applied force = 250 N

Output force = 25

Mechanical advantage = work output / work input

\rm{Mechanical advantage}=\frac{F_O}{F_I}

\rm{Mechanical advantage}=\frac{25}{250}

\rm{Mechanical advantage}=0.1

Hence the mechanical advantage of the machine will be 0.1

If you wanted to detect x rays coming from the sun, where would you place the detector? Why?
Damm [24]
You would have to place your sensor above earth's atmosphere because it blocks out nearly all x-rays. this is why we have the Chandra observatory

hope this helps

The free-fall acceleration on Mars is 3.7 m/s^2. What length of pendulum has a period of 1.0 s on Earth? What length of pendulum
NemiM [27]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given

Free fall acceleration on mars g_{m}=3.7\ m/s^2

Time Period of pendulum on earth T=1\ s

Time period of Pendulum is given by

T=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{L}{g}}

for earth

1=2\pi\cdot \sqrt{\frac{L}{9.8}}

L=\frac{9.8}{(2\pi )^2}

L=0.498\ m

(b)For same time period on mars length is given by

L'=\frac{g_m}{(2\pi )^2}

L'=\frac{3.7}{39.48}

L'=0.0936\ m

L'=9.36\ cm
