Answer:

Explanation:

We have the three equations:

NH_{3(g)} + HCl_{(g)} => NH_4Cl_{(s)}  .....     \Delta H = ? (1)\\2HCl_{(g)} => H_{2(g)} + Cl_{2(g)} .... \Delta H = +184.6 kJ (2)\\2H_{2(g)} + 1/2N_{2(g)} + 1/2Cl_{2(g)} => NH_4Cl_{(s)} ..... \Delta H = -314.2 kJ (3)\\ N_{2(g)} + 3H_{2(g)}  => 2NH_{3(g)} .... \Delta H  = +184.6kJ (4)

(can you double check that it is 184.6kJ for both equations 2 and 4 because it seems unlikely). We need to solve for equation 1 by addition and changing equations 2, 3 and 4. After possibly some trial and error, we can find that if we flip equations 4, multiply equation 3 by 2, add the equations together, and then finally divide by 2, we can get equation 1. We will get the answer of -314.2 kJ. However, I am again skeptical about the delta H values for equation 2 and 4 so double check that. This method might be super confusing and it is really hard to explain. So what I would suggest you to watch videos on Hess' law.

A helium-filled weather balloon has a volume of 512 L at 18.9°C and 756 mmHg. It is released and rises to an altitude of 2.14 km
vazorg [7]

633.97 L

Explanation:

Well use the combined gas law;

P₁V₁T₁ = P₂V₂T₂

We need to change the temperatures into Kelvin;

18.9°C= 292.05 K

5.9°C = 279.05 K

756 * 512 * 292.05 = 639 * V₂ * 279.05

113,044,377.6 = 178,312.95 V₂

V₂ = 113,044,377.6 / 178,312.95

V₂ = 633.97 L

What is the Molar Mass of methylammonium bromide: Use the Periodic Table and round to the nearest hundredths.
egoroff_w [7]

The molar mass of methylammonium bromide is 111u.

<h3>What is molar mass?</h3>

The molar mass is defined as the mass per unit amount of substance of a given chemical entity.

Multiply the atomic weight (from the periodic table) of each element by the number of atoms of that element present in the compound.

Add it all together and put units of grams/mole after the number.

Atomic weight of H is 1u

Atomic weight of N is  14u

Atomic weight of C is  12u

Atomic weight of Br is  79u

Calculating molar mass of  2H_3NCH_3Br =2(1 x3+ 14+12+ 1 x 3 +79) = 111u

Hence, the molar mass of methylammonium bromide is 111u.

Gala2k [10]
Answer is: 1 megamole is equal to 1000000 (one million) mole or 10⁶<span> moles</span>.
The SI base unit for amount of substance is the mole. The SI prefix "mega" represents a factor of 10⁶, or in exponential notation, 1E6.
<span>The mole is the amount of substance of a system which contains as many elementary entities as there are atoms in 12 grams of carbon C-12.</span>
