Answer:

1.

Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. (Image credit: NASA)

The largest planet in the solar system, the gas giant Jupiter is approximately 318 times as massive as Earth. If the mass of all of the other planets in the solar system were combined into one "super planet," Jupiter would still be two and a half times as large.

2.Rotation of Jupiter

[/caption]

Jupiter has the fastest rotation of all the planets in the Solar System, completing one rotation on its axis every 9.9 hours.

3.Jupiter, the King of the Planets, is a gas giant, which means that it's made mostly of gases like hydrogen and helium, and that it doesn't have a solid surface in the way that rocky planets like Earth do. With a temperature of 130 K (-140 C, -230 F), it's so cold that it gives off most of its energy in the infrared. In fact, Jupiter gives off almost twice as much heat as it receives from the Sun. It's able to do this because it has its own internal heat source, powered by the slow gravitational collapse that started when the planet first formed. Astronomers estimate that Jupiter is currently shrinking by almost 2 cm per year

What is the acceleration of a 1000 kg car subject to a 550 N net force
Xelga [282]

Answer:

The acceleration of a 1000 kg car subject to a 550 N net force = 0.55 m/s^2

Explanation:

Given:

F = 550 N

m = 1000 kg

To Find:

a = ?

Solution:

So by the equation by Newton's 2nd Law of Motion,

F = m x a

550 N = 1000 kg x a

a = 550 N/ 1000 kg

a = 0.55 m/s^2

Therefore,

The acceleration of a 1000 kg car subject to a 550 N net force = 0.55 m/s^2

The photons of different light waves:
LuckyWell [14K]

Answer: contain different amounts of energy

Explanation:

The energy E of a photon is given by:

E=h\nu

Where:

h=6.626(10)^{-34}\frac{m^{2}kg}{s} is the Planck constant

\nu is the frequency of the light which is inversely related to the wavelength.

Now, if we have photons of different light waves, this means we have photons with different frequencies.

As the energy of the photon depends on its frequency:

Photons of different light waves <u>contain different amounts of energy.</u>

A proton is 0.9 meters away from a 1.4 C charge. What is the magnitude of the electric force between the proton and the charge
Digiron [165]

Answer:

F = 2.49 x 10⁻⁹ N

Explanation:

The electrostatic force between two charged bodies is given by Colomb's Law:

F = \frac{kq_1q_2}{r^2}\\

where,

F = Electrostatic Force = ?

k = colomb's constant = 9 x 10⁹ N.m²/C²

q₁ = charge on proton = 1.6 x 10⁻¹⁹ C

q₂ = second charge = 1.4 C

r = distace between charges = 0.9 m

Therefore,

F = \frac{(9\ x\ 10^9\ N.m^2/C^2)(1.6\ x\ 10^{-19}\ C)(1.4\ C)}{(0.9\ m)^2}

<u>F = 2.49 x 10⁻⁹ N</u>
