Answer:

If velocity is higher, then traversed distance during any time increment dt is higher. This tells you that the amount of energy delivered to the object is proportional to the velocity, which is proportional to elapsed time t.

Explanation:

Why is the overall charge on an atom neutral?
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

The overall charge on a neutral atom is zero.

A neutral atoms contains equal number of electrons and protons.The charge of a proton and electron is equal in magnitude but opposite in sign. A proton has a charge of 1.6 x 10⁻¹⁹C and the charge of an electron is -1.6 x 10⁻¹⁹C. Thus in a neutral atom, the charge of all the protons gets cancelled with the charge of all the electrons.

Thus a neutral atom has a net zero charge.

A marble with a mass of 1.5 grams rolls at a constant rate at a constant rate of 0.50 cm/s across a table. What is the magnitude
Leno4ka [110]
Ok so momentum is the product of mass and velocity. Its SI unit is Kg m/s

The marble's velocity is 0.5 cm/s and it's mass is 1.5.

Multiply this -> 0.5 * 1.5 = 0.75 g cm/s

Usually everything in Physics is converted into SI units therefore the SI measurement of the marble is 0.00000075 Kg m/s

A and B start walking in the same direction at the same time around a circular park of diameter 4200 m. If A walks 10 m more tha
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

Va = 5000 m / 3600 s = 1.39 m/s

(Va - Vb) 60 = 10

Vb = Va - .167 = 1.22 m/s

(Va - Vb) T = 4200 Π      where T is time for A to complete 1 more lap

.17 T = 4200 Π

T = 24700 Π  time for A to again catch B

N = 1.39 * 24700 Answer:

Va = 5000 m / 3600 s = 1.39 m/s

(Va - Vb) 60 = 10

Vb = Va - .167 = 1.22 m/s

(Va - Vb) T = 4200 Π      where T is time for A to complete 1 more lap

.17 T = 4200 Π

T = 24700 Π  time for A to again catch B

N = 1.39 * 24700 Π / (4200 Π) = 8.2   laps

A will make 8 but not 9 rounds before catching B

If the force of a 10 kg car traveling in a circular path is 900n and the circle has a diameter of 20 m what is the velocity of t
viktelen [127]

Answer:

the velocity of the car is 30 m/s.

Explanation:

Given;

Centripetal force on the car, F = 900 N

mass of the car, m = 10 kg

diameter of the circular path, d = 20 m

radius of the circular path, r = 10 m

The velocity of the car is calculated as follows;

F = \frac{mv^2}{r} \\\\mv^2 = Fr\\\\v^2 = \frac{Fr}{m} \\\\v = \sqrt{\frac{900 \times 10}{10} } \\\\v = 30 \ m/s

Therefore, the velocity of the car is 30 m/s.
