Let's see

  • 25°C is normal room temperature denotion

pOH

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow -log[OH^-]

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow -log[1.2\times 10^{-2}]

  • log(ab)=loga+logb

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow -log1.2-log10^{-2}

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow -0.0791812460476+2

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 2.0791812460476

<h2>Given↷</h2>

  • [OH-] = 1.20 × 10^–2 M
  • Temperature = 25°
<h2>To find↷</h2>

  • pOH of the solution
<h2>Answer ↷</h2>

  • pOH = 1.92
<h2>Solution ↷</h2>

  • [OH-] = 1.20 × 10^–2 M
  • pOH = - log [OH^1-]
  • pOH = - log [1.20 × 10^–2]
  • <u>pOH = 1.92</u>

Which type of bond is present in hydrogen sulfide (H2S)? The table of electronegativities is given
LuckyWell [14K]

Bonds formed between atoms can be classified as ionic and covalent

Ionic bonds are formed between atoms that have a high difference in the electronegativity values.

In contrast, bonds formed between atoms that have a difference in electronegativity lower than the ionic counterparts are polar covalent bonds.  If the atoms have very similar electronegativities, they form non-polar covalent bonds.

In H2S, the S atom is bonded to 2 H atoms. The electronegativity of H = 2.2 and S= 2.56. Since the difference is not high the bond formed will be covalent (polar covalent).

If objects at the same distance suddenly decreased in mass the gravitational force between them would
Flauer [41]

Answer:

Gravitational force is also decreases.

Explanation:

Gravitational force is directly proportional to the mass of an object and inversely properly to the distance between their centres. Directly means if one increases the other automatically increases or if one decreases, the other also decreases. There is a direct relationship between mass and gravitational force so if mass of the bodies decrease, the gravitational force is also decreases.
