Given what we know, we can confirm that in the situation given in this question, the ice cube placed into the pitcher of water will melt quicker than the cube in the cup of water.

Why does the cube in the pitcher melt quicker?

In order to melt, the ice must receive heat from the water around it.

The hotter the water is, the more heat the ice can receive.

Given that the cup has a low amount of water, it will quickly cool down, slowing the melting process of the ice.

The pitcher, however, has more molecules of water that are able to give heat to the ice, meaning that the ice can melt faster.

Therefore, given that the pitcher contains more water, it will be able to lose more heat before to the ice cube than the cup of water and thus melt the cube faster.

What mass of Ba3(PO4)2 is contained in 1575 mL of a 0.35M solution of Ba3(PO4)2
LekaFEV [45]

Answer:

= 331.81 g

Explanation:

Molarity is calculated by the formula;

Molarity = Moles/volume in liters

Therefore;

Moles = Molarity ×Volume in liters

          = 0.35 M × 1.575 L

          = 0.55125 Moles

But; Molar mass of Ba3(PO4)2 is 601.93 g/mol

Thus;

Mass = 0.55125 moles × 601.93 g/mol

         =331.81 g

Formula los siguientes compuesto: Dietil eter, Etanol, Propanotriol, Acido Propanodioico, Pentanal, Pentano-2,4-diona, Metanoato
viva [34]

Answer:

Explanation:

Acido heptanoico: acido carboxilico

Ciclobutil metil eter: eteres

Butanona: cetona.
