Answer: V= 3.13 L

Explanation: solution attached:

Use combine gas law equation:

P1 V1 / T1 = P2 V2/ T2

Derive to find V2

V2 = P1 V1 T2 / T1 P2

Convert temperatures in K

T1= 13.0°C + 273 = 286 K

T2= 22.5°C + 273 = 295.5 K

Substitute the values.

Write a balanced equation for the double-replacement precipitation reaction described, using the smallest possible integer coeff
ahrayia [7]

Answer:

NH4Br + AgNO3 —> AgBr + NH4NO3

Explanation:

When ammonium bromide and silver(I) nitrate react, the following are obtained as shown below:

NH4Br(aq) + AgNO3(aq) —>

In solution, NH4Br(aq) and AgNO3(aq) will dissociate as follow:

NH4Br(aq) —> NH4+(aq) + Br-(aq)

AgNO3(aq) —> Ag+(aq) + NO3-(aq)

The double displacement reaction will occur as follow:

NH4+(aq) + Br-(aq) + Ag+(aq) + NO3-(aq) —> Ag+(aq) + Br-(aq) + NH4+(aq) + NO3-(aq)

NH4Br(aq) + AgNO3(aq) —> AgBr(s) + NH4NO3(aq)

1) We apply the ideal gas equation:
PV = nRT
n = (21300 x 3/1000) / (8.314 x 323)
n = 0.024
Your answer is correct.

2) Total pressure = Partial pressure of Hydrogen + Partial pressure of water
134.7  = 122.4 + Pw
Pw = 12.3 kPa
Your answer is correct

3) The molar fraction, volume fraction and pressure fraction of gasses are the same thing.
Thus, percentage pressure of Oxygen = 10%
Pressure of Oxygen = 2.04 x 10⁴ x 0.1
= 2.04 x 10³ kPa
Your answer is correct

Well done!
