What are the products of a neutralization reaction

Physics

Answer: The correct answer is- Salt and water.

Neutralization is a type of chemical reaction, which involves a strong acid and strong base as reactants in order to form salt and water as product. In other words, when strong acid is allowed to react with strong base, it produces salt and water as a product and this is called as neutralization reaction.

For example- HCl  + NaOH → NaCl + H2O

                      (acid)    (base)   (salt)   (water)

Thus, salt and water is the right answer.

There are no other products of neutralization reactions other than salt and water. (Salt is a much more broader term than just table salt by the way.)

A physics lab group rolls a ball off a horizontal table with a speed of 1.6 m/s. the table is 1.2 m high. how far in the horizon
Brilliant_brown [7]

Answer:

0.784 m

Explanation:

The motion of the ball is a projectile motion, which consists of two independent motions:

- a horizontal uniform motion, with constant speed of v_0 = 1.6 m/s

- a vertical accelerated motion, with constant acceleration g=-9.8 m/s^2 towards the ground and initial position y_0 = 1.2 m

By looking at the vertical motion, we can find the time t at which the ball hits the ground, which is the time t at which the vertical position y becomes zero:

y(t)=0\\y(t)=y_0 +\frac{1}{2}gt^2\\0=y_0 +\frac{1}{2}gt^2\\t=\sqrt{-\frac{2 y_0}{g}}=\sqrt{-\frac{2\cdot 1.2 m}{-9.8 m/s^2}}=0.49 s

And now we can use the horizontal motion to find the total horizontal distance traveled during this time interval:

S_x = v t=(1.6 m/s)(0.49 s)=0.784 m

Amplitude is a measure of a waves
ryzh [129]

Amplitude is a measure of distance of waves

Answer: Option B

<u>Explanation:</u>

Waves are usually represented in terms of frequency and amplitude. Amplitude refers to the distance or maximum displacement traveled by the waves in terms of time which is denoted by frequency.

Frequency can be defined as the number of cycles travelled per second whereas speed is the distance travelled by the wave per second. Hence distance is the right option from the other given options.

In which senario is gravitational potential energy present?
sukhopar [10]

The answer is B

Now I'm not sure if you're taking high school physics or middle school physics. But you have to know that gravitational potential energy has to be given with respect to something else, relative to something else.

For example if im sitting on a chair, relative to the chair my potential energy is 0, however with respect to earths core I have a huuuuuge potential energy.

So in these answers, they all have gravitational potential energy, but the answer the question is looking for is B
