A driver parked his car on a steep hill and forgot to set the emergency brake. As a result, the car rolled down the hill and cra

shed into a parked truck. If the car was moving at 10 mph (4.5 m/s) when it hit the truck 7.0 seconds after it began to move, what was the car’s average acceleration while it rolled down the hill? Define the positive x direction to be down the hill.

Answer:0.642

Explanation:

Given

initially car is at rest i.e u=0

When car hits the truck it's velocity is 4.5 m/s

it hits the truck after 7 sec

Now average acceleration of car is =\frac{change\ in\ velocity}{time\ taken}

average acceleration of car =\frac{\left ( final velocity\right )-\left ( initial velocity\right )}{time}

average acceleration of car=\frac{\left ( 4.5\right )-\left ( 0\right )}{7}

average acceleration of car=0.642 m/s^{2}

Taking Down hill as positive x axis

average acceleration of car=0.642\hat{i}

What two factors affect the gravitational force between two objects
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

When dealing with the force of gravity between two objects, there are only two things that are important – mass, and distance. The force of gravity depends directly upon the masses of the two objects, and inversely on the square of the distance between them.Explanation:

hello friends,i need your help my home work now in physics,topic:motion.40 marks +brainliest if correct .
fenix001 [56]

Answer:

See below

Explanation:

Vertical position is given by

df = do + vo t - 1/2 a t^2      df = final position = 0 (on the ground)

                                           do =original position = 2 m

                                            vo = original <u>VERTICAL</u> velocity = 0

                                            a = acceleration of gravity = 9.81 m/s^2

THIS BECOMES

0 = 2 + 0 * t  - 1/2 ( 9.81)t^2

  to show t =<u> .639 seconds to hit the ground </u>

During this .639 seconds it flies horizontally at 10 m/s for a distance of

      10 m/s * .639 s =<u> 6.39 m </u>

A straight wire 20 cm long, carrying a current of 4 A, is in a uniform magnetic field of 0.6 T. What is the force on the wire wh
zheka24 [161]

Answer:

Magnetic force, F = 0.24 N

Explanation:

It is given that,

Current flowing in the wire, I = 4 A

Length of the wire, L = 20 cm = 0.2 m

Magnetic field, B = 0.6 T

Angle between force and the magnetic field, θ = 30°. The magnetic force is given by :

F=ILB\ sin\theta

F=4\ A\times 0.2\ m\times 0.6\ T\ sin(30)

F = 0.24 N

So, the force on the wire at an angle of 30° with respect to the field is 0.24 N. Hence, this is the required solution.
