Answer:

5.3 cm

Explanation:

Let the charges on the spheres be q and Q.

r = 9.20 cm

F = k Q q / (9.20)^2 ..... (1)

Let the new distance be r' and force F'

F' = 3 F

F' = k Q q / r'^2

3 F = k Q q / r'^2 ...... (2)

Divide equation (1) by (2)

F / 3 F = r'^2 / 84.64

1 / 3 = r'^2 / 84.64

r' = 5.3 cm

Gekata [30.6K]

Answer:

65.625 m/s

Explanation:

F=20\times 10^9 Hz

\Delta F=F_r-F_t=4750 Hz

c = Speed of light = 3×10⁸ m/s

Relative speed

v=\frac{\Delta F}{2F}\times c\\\Rightarrow v=\frac{4750}{2\times 20\times 10^9}\times 3\times 10^8\\\Rightarrow v=35.625\ m/s

Relative speed = 35.625 m/s

Velocity of speeder = Velocity of police car + Relative speed

⇒Velocity of speeder = 30 + 35.625 = 65.625 m/s

∴ Velocity of speeder is 65.625 m/s

in an exothermic chemical reaction the energy gained by the surroundings must be _______ the energy lost by the reaction
Yuliya22 [10]

Answer:

In an exothermic reaction the energy gained by the surroundings must be <u>equal to</u> the energy lost by the reaction.

Explanation:

Exothermic reactions occur by the loss of energy in the form of heat to the surroundings (apparatus and the system).

The heat gained can be quantitatively analysed and measured  provided no product escapes the system and it is numerically equal to the amount of heat lost by the reaction.
