Answer:

The  value is  g =  16.104 \  m/s

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

 The  length is  l  =  53.0 \  cm  = 0.53 \  m

 The  number of cycle is  n = 105

  The time taken is  t =  125 \  s

The period is mathematically represented as

    T  =  2 \pi \sqrt{\frac{ l}{g} }

Also the period is mathematically represented as

      T    =  \frac{ t}{n}

      T  =  \frac{125}{110}

      T  =  1.14 \ s/cycle

So

      1.14  =  2 * 3.142  \sqrt{\frac{ 0.53}{g} }

=>   g =  \frac{ 4 *  3.142^2 *  0.53}{1.14^2}

=>     g =  16.104 \  m/s

A stone is tied to a 0.85-meter cord. it is swung in a circle at a constant rate of 6.0 m/s. what is the centripetal acceleratio
Andrei [34K]

Answer:42.4m/s^2

Explanation:

Velocity(v)=6m/s

Radius(r)=0.85 meter

Centripetal acceleration=(v x v) ➗ r

Centripetal acceleration=(6 x 6) ➗ 0.85

Centripetal acceleration=36 ➗ 0.85

Centripetal acceleration=42.4

The tub of a washer goes into its spin-dry cycle, starting from rest and reaching an angular speed of 2.0 rev/s in 10.0 s. At th
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

22 revolutions

Explanation:

2 rev/s = 2*(2π rad/rev) = 12.57 rad/s

The angular acceleration when it starting

\alpha_a = \frac{\Delta \omega}{\Delta t} = \frac{12.57}{10} = 1.257 rad/s^2

The angular acceleration when it stopping:

\alpha_o = \frac{\Delta \omega}{\Delta t} = \frac{-12.57}{12} = -1.05 rad/s^2

The angular distance it covers when starting from rest:

\omega^2 - 0^2 = 2\alpha_a\theta_a

\theta_a = \frac{\omega^2}{2\alpha_a} = \frac{12.57^2}{2*1.257} = 62.8 rad

The angular distance it covers when coming to complete stop:

0 - \omega^2 = 2\alpha_o\theta_o

\theta_o = \frac{-\omega^2}{2\alpha_o} = \frac{-12.57^2}{2*(-1.05)} = 75.4 rad

So the total angular distance it covers within 22 s is 62.8 + 75.4 = 138.23 rad or 138.23 / (2π) = 22 revolutions

what can you say about the motion of an object if its speed time graph is a straight line parallel to the time axis ? Also draw
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

It says about the motion and the graph of the object is stationary, basically travelling at the same speed at any time of the graph. It will never change.

Explanation:

To draw a diagram:

1. Draw an object and represent the speed as stationary and constant at any time.

Answer:

<h2>b) 4230 J </h2>

Explanation:

Step one:

given data

extension= 40cm

Spring constant K= 52.9N/cm

Step two:

the Kinetic Energy KE

the expression to find the kinetic energy is

KE= 1/2ke^2

substituting our data we have

KE= 1/2*52.9*40^2

KE=0.5*52.9*1600

KE= 42320Joules

<u>The answer is b) 4230 J </u>
