The correct answer to the question is : A) Alpha particle

EXPLANATION:

As per the question, we have three radioactive decay particles which are known as alpha particle, beta particle and gamma ray.

Out of these radioactive radiations, alpha particle and beta particle are material particles. Alpha particle is the doubly charged helium nucleus while beta particle is the stream of electrons.

Alpha and beta being material particles, their penetration depth is very lower.

Gamma ray is an electromagnetic radiations. Hence, its penetration effect is the most.

Out of alpha and beta particles, the size of alpha particle is more as compared to the size of beta particle. Hence, the penetration effect of alpha particle is less as compared to beta particle.

Hence, alpha particle has the lowest penetrating ability.

Which would you expect to freeze faster pure water or salt solution why?
krek1111 [17]
Pure water.

A salt solution contains impurities whereas pure water will not contain any impurities.

Impurities increase the boiling point (freezing point) of a substance.

Thus, I would expect the pure water solution to freeze faster than the salt solution.

Assume the following values: d1 = 0.880 m , d2 = 1.11 m , d3 = 0.560 m , d4 = 2.08 m , F1 = 510 N , F2 = 306 N , F3 = 501 N , F4

Answer:

= 2630.6 N.m

Explanation:

(FR)x = ΣFx = -F4 = -407 N

(FR)y = ΣFy =-F1-F2 -F3 = -510 - 306 - 501 = -1317 N

(MR)B =ΣM + Σ(±Fd)

= MA + F1(d1 +d2) + F2d2 - F4d3

= 1504 + 510(0.880+1.11) +306(1.11) - 407(0.560)

= 2630.64 N.m (counterclockwise)
