So, you just plug that in. 

50 N=m\times-9.8m/s^2\\&#10;\frac{50}{-9.8}=m\\&#10;m=-5.102

BUT you know that mass cannot be negative, so you just disregard the negative sign and the mass of the rock is 5.102 grams.

Without force, you could not make stuff accelerate.

If something was moving, you could not make it speed up, slow down, stop, or go in a different direction.

If a thing was not moving, you could not make it move at all.

Ek= 1/2mv^2

total before

total after

121/75 = v^2 | square root both sides
v=1.27 m/s
