How does Earth's movement affect how the Sun is seen? The Sun is stationary, but Earth's rotation makes it appear to move east t

o west across the sky. Earth's rotation around the Sun makes the Sun appear to move across the sky every 365 days. The Sun and Earth move around each other, so the Sun moves east to west across the sky. The Sun is stationary, but Earth's clockwise rotation makes it appear to move west to east across the sky.

Answer:

The manner in which the Earth's movement affect how the Sun is seen is;

The Sun is stationary, but Earth's rotation makes it appear to move East to West across the sky

Explanation:

The Earth's movement affect the way the Sun is seen

The Sun appears to rise in the Eastern part of the sky and continues in motion till the it sets at the Western part of the sky

However, the Sun does not actually move relative to the Earth as seen in the sky. The observed motion of the Sun is due to the counterclockwise rotation of the Earth about its axis

Therefore, the Earth's movement affect the way the Sun is seen by making the Sun appear to move across the sky from East to West

Vinvika [58]
Wow! 2.95m/s is a mighty fast pace for a backpacker. Must have one of those Star Wars anti-gravity packs. Also, I would be curious as to why she passed her destination and then walked back.
Anyway, it goes like this:
Say the time walking east is 't', and the total time is 'T'.
Then 5340 m + .511 t = 1.43 T
(This assumes that velocity is positive in both directions)
Two unknowns in one equation. But you also know that the time spent walking west is
5340m/ 2.95m/s = 1810 sec.
and the total time T = 1810 +t
Substitute this into the first equation, and you can solve for t = 3092 sec.
Then T = 4902 sec. and distance walked east is .511t = 1580m.

Nadya [2.5K]

Answer:

A magnetic tape is being played on a cassette deck. The tension in the tape applies a torque to supply reel. Assuming the tension remains constant during playback, the torque varies as the reel becomes empty because the lever arm gets smaller. Therefore, the torque exerted on the reel by the tape becomes smaller.

Explanation:

Inertia increases and the angular momentum is to remain the constant.

     Torque =rFsinФ

      r=radius

      F=force

      Ф=angle between the F and lever arm
