Well as you've seen before most likely, an apple can fall right off a tree, and stay perfectly fine. its all dependent on the variables. What angle is the apple falling at? Whats the speed, height, even the size of the apple? We must take into aware anything can happen, but its all behind the variables.

What is the force of gravity on a dog in a space suit that's running around on the moon? The dog's body has a mass of 20 kilogra
gulaghasi [49]

Answer:

32.4 N

Explanation:

The force of gravity acting on the dog is equal to its weight on the Moon, which is given by

W=mg

where:

m is the mass of the dog

g is the acceleration of gravity on the moon

In this problem, we have:

m = 20 kg

g = 1.62 m/s^2 (acceleration due to gravity on the moon)

Substituting numbers into the equation, we find

W=(20 kg)(1.62 m/s^2)=32.4 N

What is the index of refraction in quartz if light travels at 2.0567 x 108m/s when in quartz?
Gnesinka [82]

Index of refraction of a substance =

(speed of light in vacuum) / (speed of light in the substance)

Index in quartz = (2.9979 x 10⁸ m/s) / (2.0567 x 10⁸ m/s)

Index = 1.4576 (no units)

What happens to the energy when the material is changed?
expeople1 [14]

Answer: When a material is heated or cooled, two changes may happen to the particles within the material: Chemical bonds between the particles may form, break or stretch. There is a change in the chemical potential store of energy in the material. The material will heat up or cool down as the particles within it gain or lose speed.
