Describe how impacts between objects in the solar system have helped create notable features in the solar system such as craters
konstantin123 [22]
When 'The big bang' happened lots of large pieces of molten rock was flying around the solar system. As the rocks crashed together they got bigger and as the got bigger they attracted more rocks. Some scientists think that a large piece of molten rock hit the still developing Earth and created the Moon. This impact also caused the Earths angled spin. The Moon got trapped in Earth's orbit and has stayed ever since. Small astroids have hit the Moon causing craters. The Earth doesn't get hit as much because of our thicker atmosphere. Hope this helps!

Monochromatic light falls on two very narrow slits 0.047 mm apart. Successive fringes on a screen 6.60 m away are 8.9 cm apart n
Svet_ta [14]

Answer::

   \lambda  =  634 nm

  f =  4.73 *10^{14} \  Hz

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

      The  distance of separation is  d =  0.047 \ mm =  0.047 *10^{-3} \ m

       The  distance of the screen is  D =  6.60 \ m

      The  width of the fringe is y  =  8.9 \ cm  =  0.089 \ m

Generally the width of the width of the fringes is mathematically represented as

          y  = \frac{\lambda  *  D }{d }

=>       \lambda  =  \frac{y *  d }{D }

=>      \lambda  =  \frac{ 0.089  *   (0.047 *10^{-3}) }{6.60  }

=>    \lambda  =  634 *10^{-9}

=>  \lambda  =  634 nm

Generally the speed of light is mathematically represented as

         c  =  f * \lambda

=>       f=  \frac{ c}{\lambda }

=>         f=  \frac{ 3.0 *10^{8}}{634 *10^{-9}}

=>     f =  4.73 *10^{14} \  Hz

You have a large flashlight that takes 4 D-cell batteries, each with a voltage of 1.5 volts. If the current in the flashlight is
tino4ka555 [31]

Answer:

The answer is "C. 3.0 ohms".

Explanation:

Ohm's law states the following:,

V = IR

where:

Voltage (V) = 1.5 volts × 4 batteries = 6.0 volts

Current (I) = 2.0 amps

Resistance (R) = ? ohms

To solve for Resistance (R) the equation must be rearranged this way:

 R = V / I

Then, the variables must be replaced with the known values:

 R = 6.0 volts / 2.0 amp

R = 3.0 ohms

The answer is  C. 3.0 ohms.

An object travels for 5 minutes with constant motion. What conclusion can you make about the sum of the forces (total force) act
zheka24 [161]
Using Fnet= ma, constant motion means 0 acceleration, Fnet ( force ) will be also 0
