The heat will always move to the cooler object. This transfer will happen until both objects have the same temperature (thermal equilibrium).

How would life on earth be different if earth’s axis were not tilted with respect to its orbit?
Vladimir [108]

If Earth's axis was "straight up and down" instead of tilted, then ...

<span>-- There would be no seasons.

-- The climate at any one place would be the same all year around.

-- The days would be the same length, everywhere,
    and all year around.

-- So would the nights.

-- The sun would be up a little more than 12 hours every day.
    It would be down a little less than 12 hours every day.

-- At the middle of the day, the sun would be at the same height
   in the sky all year around, not higher in some months and lower
   in others.

-- The equator would be the only place on Earth where the sun
    could ever be directly over your head.

-- If you were at the north pole or the south pole, the sun would be
   down on the horizon, and it would just go around and around you
   every day.  It would never rise or set, and it would never get any
   higher or lower.

An insulating sphere is 8.00 cm in diameter and carries a 6.50 µC charge uniformly distributed throughout its interior volume.
Kobotan [32]

Explanation:

(a)   Formula to calculate the density is as follows.

            \rho = \frac{Q}{\frac{4}{3}\pi a^{3}}

                       = \frac{6.50 \times 10^{-6}}{\frac{4}{3} \times 3.14 \times (0.04)^{3}}

                     = 2.42 \times 10^{-2} C/m^{3}

Now, calculate the charge as follows.

            q_{in} = \rho(\frac{4}{3} \pi r^{3})

                      = 2.42 \times 10^{-2} C/m^{3} \times 4.1762 \times (0.01)^{3}

                      = 10.106 \times 10^{-8} C

or,                   = 101.06 nC

(b)  For r = 6.50 cm, the value of charge will be calculated as follows.

                q_{in} = \frac{Q}{\frac{4}{3}\pi a^{3}}

                          = \frac{6.50 \times 10^{-6}}{\frac{4}{3} \times 3.14 \times (0.065)^{3}}

                          = 7.454 \mu C

Which quantity measures the maximum distance an object on a spring moves from the equilibrium position during oscillation?
nasty-shy [4]
The appropriate response is amplitude. A measure of its change over a solitary period. There are different meanings of plentifulness, which are all elements of the extent of the distinction between the variable's outrageous qualities. In more seasoned writings, the stage is now and again called the adequacy.

andrew-mc [135]
The type of radiation that can penetrate through paper, but not through wood is called beta rays. Beta rays can penetrate paper and air, but a thin piece of alimony can stop it. Gamma can cut through anything except lead and many inches of concrete. Alpha can be stopped by paper and not penetrated. The correct answer is B.
