This is called a computer case, also called as cabinet, chassis or tower. This houses the computer most components such as motherboard with cpu, drivers and memory cards. Computer case comes in different type of material. Usually it is made of steel, and aluminum but sometimes in fiber glass or even wood.

A girl is bouncing on a trampoline where is her gravitational potential energy a maximum and where is her kinetic energy maximum
Stella [2.4K]

Answer:

When you jump down, your kinetic is converted to potential energy of the stretched trampoline. The trampoline's potential energy is converted into kinetic energy, which is transferred to you, making you bounce up. At the top of your jump, all your kinetic energy has been converted into potential energy. Right before you hit the trampoline, all of your potential energy has  been converted back into kinetic energy. As you jump up and down your kinetic energy increases and decrease.

A balloon contains 2.3 mol of helium at 1.0 atm , initially at 240 ∘C. What's the initial volume? What's the volume after the ga
pashok25 [27]
A) initial volume
We can calculate the initial volume of the gas by using the ideal gas law:
p_i V_i = nRT_i
where
p_i=1.0 atm=1.01 \cdot 10^5 Pa is the initial pressure of the gas
V_i is the initial volume of the gas
n=2.3 mol is the number of moles
R=8.31 J/K mol is the gas constant
T_i=240^{\circ}C=513 K is the initial temperature of the gas

By re-arranging this equation, we can find V_i:
V_i =  \frac{nRT_i}{p_i} = \frac{(2.3 mol)(8.31 J/mol K)(513 K)}{1.01 \cdot 10^5 Pa}=0.097 m^3

2) Now the gas cools down to a temperature of
T_f = 14^{\circ}C=287 K
while the pressure is kept constant: p_f = p_i = 1.01 \cdot 10^5 Pa, so we can use again the ideal gas law to find the new volume of the gas
V_f =  \frac{nRT_f}{p_f}= \frac{(2.3 mol)(8.31 J/molK)(287 K)}{1.01 \cdot 10^5 Pa} = 0.054 m^3

3) In a process at constant pressure, the work done by the gas is equal to the product between the pressure and the difference of volume:
W=p \Delta V= p(V_f -V_i)
by using the data we found at point 1) and 2), we find
W=p(V_f -V_i)=(1.01 \cdot 10^5 Pa)(0.054 m^3-0.097 m^3)=-4343 J
where the negative sign means the work is done by the surrounding on the gas.

A 2.40 cm × 2.40 cm square loop of wire with resistance 1.20×10−2 Ω has one edge parallel to a long straight wire. The near edge
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

current in loops is 52.73 μA

Explanation:

given data

side of square a = b  = 2.40 cm = 0.024 m

resistance R = 1.20×10^−2 Ω

edge of the loop c  = 1.20 cm = 0.012 m

rate of current = 120 A/s

to find out

current in the loop

solution

we know current formula that is

current = voltage / resistance    .................a

so current = 1/R × d∅/dt

and we know here that

flux ∅ = ( μ×I×b / 2π ) × ln (a+c/c)    ...............b

so

d∅/dt = ( μ×b / 2π ) × ln (a+c/c) × dI/dt       ...........c

so from equation a we get here current

current = ( μ×b / 2πR ) × ln (a+c/c) × dI/dt

current = ( 4π×10^{-7}×0.024 / 2π(1.20×10^{-2}) × ln (0.024 + 0.012/0.012) × 120

solve it and we get current that is

current = 4 ×10^{-7}× 1.09861 × 120

current = 52.73 ×10^{-6}  A

so here current in loops is 52.73 μA

How would radiation occur in space?
Marizza181 [45]

Answer:

Space radiation is made up of three kinds of radiation: particles trapped in the Earth's magnetic field; particles shot into space during solar flares (solar particle events); and galactic cosmic rays, which are high-energy protons and heavy ions from outside our solar system.
