Answer:

Manganese(II) monohydrogen phosphate

Explanation:

Mn(HPO_4)_2 is an ionic compound because manganese element is a metal and HPO_4^- is the complex anion.

The nomenclature of ionic compounds is given by:

Positive ion is named first.

The negative ion is named next and a suffix is added at the end of the negative ion. The suffix written is '-ide'.

In case of transition metals, the oxidation state are written in roman numerals in bracket in-front of positive ions.

The charge on manganese is (+2) and the the charge on monohydrogen phosphate group is +1

The name is Manganese(II) monohydrogen phosphate

Why does it matter if atoms are divisible ???
Andreyy89

Atoms are divisible contrary to the early beliefs that the smallest "indivisible" matter is an atom. When an atom loses its identity it means that they are divisible. Atoms chemically react with other kinds of atoms thus changing their activity.

They certainly are not that important to our lives, but it’s good to know :)
