You are at home in your air conditioned garage. You are planning a family road trip from New York to Florida. You are lnfating t

he tires of your suv. You fill each car-tire with about 10 Liters of air. The temperature inside your air conditioned garage is about 10 degrees Celsius. Your family packs the car, and you begin your trip to Florida. The temperature in New York is about 21 degrees Celsius, and the happen temperature in Florida is 32 degrees Celsius. Assuming the pressure stays constant from the garage all the way to Florida, what could to your car tires during your road trip.

Hello!

According to the Charles' Law, the volume of a gas is proportional to temperature when pressure is constant. When going from New York to Florida, if the pressure is left constant the volume of the tires will increase.

The final volume of the tires can be calculated from the following equation, derived from Charles' Law:

V2= \frac{V1}{T1}*T2=\frac{10 L}{10degC}*32degC=32 L

Have a nice day!

Indicate whether the following are acidic, basic, or neutral solution
goldenfox [79]
You answer this by using the pH formula and and the relation of pH and pOH, pH = -log[H+] and 14 = pH + pOH. The correct classification are as follows:

<span>A. [H2O+]=6.0x10^-12
basic

B. [H3O+]=1.4x10^-9
basic

C. [OH-]=5.0x10^-12
acidic

D. {OH-]=3.5x10^-10
acidic

Hope this answers the question.

A 3.82L balloon filled with gas is warmed from 204.9K to 304.8 K.
likoan [24]

Given :

A 3.82L balloon filled with gas is warmed from 204.9K to 304.8 K.

To Find :

The volume of the gas after it is heated.

Solution :

Since, their is no information about pressure in the question statement let us assume that pressure is constant.

Now, we know by ideal gas equation at constant pressure :

\dfrac{V_1}{V_2} = \dfrac{T_1}{T_2}\\\\\dfrac{3.82}{V_2}= \dfrac{204.9}{304.8}\\\\V_2 = \dfrac{304.8}{204.9} \times 3.82\\\\V_2 = 5.68 \ L

Hence, this is the required solution.

If the relative humidity is high and the temperature drops, water vapor may
meriva

If the water vapor content stays the same and the temperature drops, the relative humidity increases. If the water vapor content stays the same and the temperature rises, the relative humidity decreases. This is because colder air doesn't require as much moisture to become saturated as warmer air.
