This reaction is irreversible. The reactants are entirely converted into reaction products. Combustion of methane is a typical example of an irreversible reaction.

Answer:

Explanation:

When discussing equilibrium of a chemical reaction, the reaction must be a reversible reaction which can be altered to either produce more of reactants or more of the products. Also, the enthalpy change of the reaction determines whether the forward reaction/backward reaction is endothermic or exothermic.

Below is the equation for the combustion of methane

CH₄ + 2O₂ ⇒ CO₂ + 2H₂O

The combustion of methane is an irreversible reaction (meaning nothing can be done to it to get more reactants) which will give off heat (exothermic reaction). hence, the equilibrium expression is not needed here as the type of reaction it is gives us all the information we need to know already.

Answer:

The given equation obey the law of conservation of mass.

Explanation:

Chemical equation:

2LiOH + CO₂  →   Li₂CO₃ + H₂O

There are equal number of atoms of oxygen, hydrogen and lithium on both side of equation so it obey the law of conservation of mass.

Law of conservation of mass:

According to the law of conservation mass, mass can neither be created nor destroyed in a chemical equation.

2LiOH                +            CO₂         →         Li₂CO₃           +                    H₂O

2(6.941 + 16 + 1)  +          12+32                   6.941×2 + 12 + 3×16     +       18

47.882 + 44                                                  13.882 +12+48   +   18

91.882 g                                                                91.882 g

The mass of reactants and product are equal.

WINSTONCH [101]

1) Well, you need to logically think about which of the pecan trees would be better. Tree 3 may have more clusters but they taste bitter so this is out of the option. So Tree 4 and Tree 1 would be best because they both have rich and buttery tastes and they both have a lot of clusters.

2) Not quite sure about this one, sorry :(

Calculate the number of Carbon atoms in 1.50g of C6H12O6
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

3.01 ·10↑22

Explanation:

First you want to convert the grams of Glucose to moles of Glucose.

\frac{1.5 grams of glucose}{180.15588grams/molesglucose} =.008326 Moles of Glucose

Next find the formula units of glucose.

.008326Moles of Glucose · 6.022 · 10↑23Forumula Units*Moles↑-1 =

5.01 ·10↑21 Formula Units of Glucose

Now multiply the formula units of glucose by the amount of each element in the molecule.

So for Carbon:

6carbon · 5.01 · 10↑21 = 3.01 · 10↑22

An object accelerates 8.2 m/s2 when a force of 20.1 Newton's is applied to it. What is the mass of the object?
Shalnov [3]
Hey it's me again haha!

the answer to your question is:

answer: so f=20.1

a=8.2

m=?

f=ma

20.1 = 8.2*m in

20.1/8.2=m

so the answer is around 2.45 something!
also i'm sorry this question had be stumbled!
