Which meter, ammeter or the voltmeter, has the higher internal resistance? why does this make sense?
kodGreya [7K]

Answer:

Voltmeter

Explanation:

A voltmeter is usually defined as an instrument that is commonly used to measure the electric potential difference acting between the two ends of a circuit. The unit of voltmeter is volts. Here, connections are made in parallel arrangement.

An ammeter is a device that is commonly used to measure the amount of flowing current within a circuit. The unit of current is in terms of amperes (A). Here, connections are made in series.

A voltmeter is usually comprised of high internal resistance in comparison to an ammeter because a high internal resistance results in the heating up of the battery and subsequent dropping its voltage and after the equipments are being cuts off, it leaves behind certain amount of energy.

A uniform thin circular ring rolls without slipping down an incline making an angle θ with the horizontal. What is its accelerat
Mariana [72]

Answer:a=\frac{g\sin \theta }{2}

Explanation:

Given

inclination is \theta

let M be the mass and r be the radius of uniform circular ring

Moment of Inertia of ring I=mr^2

Friction will Provide the Torque to ring

f_r\times r=I\times \alpha

f_r\times r=mr^2\times \alpha

in pure Rolling a=\alpha r

\alpha =\frac{a}{r}

f_r=ma

Form FBD mg\sin \theta -f_r=ma

mg\sin \theta =ma+ma

2ma=mg\sin \theta

a=\frac{g\sin \theta }{2}

What is the direction of the magnetic field around a wire carrying a current perpendicularly into this page
UNO [17]

Answer:

Clockwise direction

Explanation:

In a case of a wire carrying a current, the right hand rule is used.

The thumb in the direction of current while the finger curl around in the direction of the magnetic field.

The right hand rule applies to a current in a straight line wire.

If the direction a wire carrying a current perpendicularly into this page, the direction of the magnetic field will be in a clockwise direction .
